We stay a minimum of at least an hour, most times longer. We provide comfort to your pet, go outside to play, give treats and just be present for them. These long visits allow us to notice if your pet is not feeling well or has maybe injured themselves somehow. We bring in your mail and/or packages and water plants if necessary also. We check your house to make sure everything is safe and secure and will alternate lighting in your house to make it seem like someone is home.
Yes, we specialize in “in-your-home” pet sitting. Pets do so much better when they can remain in their own home while you are gone. Familiar sights, smells, sounds and routines remain the same.
Of course, it is much preferred that we have advance notice but if something urgent comes up for you, we do our very best to accommodate your needs.

Deborah Pancel of Oklahoma
For the past 3 years, Anna with For Pet’s Sake has been an absolute blessing to our family and our animals. We trusted her with our entire little farm — 2 horses, 2 sheep, 3 dogs, and 25 chickens — and she cared for them with the same love, dedication, and attention that we would ourselves.
Finding someone knowledgeable and dependable enough to handle both farm animals and household responsibilities is not easy, but Anna exceeded every expectation we had. She was always reliable, communicative, and incredibly attentive to every detail, from feeding schedules to making sure everyone was safe, healthy, and happy while we were away.
One of the hardest parts about moving out of state was knowing we were leaving behind someone we trusted so completely. Anna became more than just our pet sitter — she became family to us and to our animals.
I highly recommend Anna and For Pets Sake for any and all of your pet sitting needs.
